  1. I've been a follower for YEARS, so it's fun to get a peek at the behind-the-scenes action. The detail that goes into planning an event like SMMW is mind-boggling!

  2. I love and appreciate seeing the behind-the-scenes of how you guys function as a team. You've done a great job at humanizing your brand, something that is more crucial now than ever in marketing.

  3. Tolles Video! Danke sehr! 😊

  4. Another super real and raw episode πŸ‘πŸ» I've started to get a lot more pre-event email, invitations to the slack groups and LinkedIn group, so I am starting to get real excited for the event. I hope the morning power walks will be going on. Need to get organized to get the absolute most out of it.

  5. Hey guys. I stumbled on The Journey not that long ago and binge watched them all. I get a little excited waiting for each new ep now! I don't mean to be insulting but Mike is looking a little tired and stressed at the moment. I can see why: this ep was great but the progress seems to be at snail's pace, which I imagine would be super frustrating.

Can I humbly make one suggestion? Maybe you do it already, but I don't see it… but you could do an article on what is trending for 2018 in social and digital marketing, blast it out and retarget everyone who reads it. Just a thought.

Anyway, I booked our team in for the SMMW18 so we'll see you there.

  6. 😁 Poor Kim, β€œOh God, Monday’s coming.” Two ways to be a general: Stay behind the tent & issue commands over the radio, OR, get on the front line & go to battle with your team. Indeed, Mike, no 'i' in Team πŸ˜‰. #ToniaIsHelping #RightEyeOnTheBall #ClearCommunications #Change #Bingo #FineBalance! Hit people where they are! Great, The Journey episode; they keep getting better & better. Growth is a good thing!!

  7. Love watching the BTS of SMMW18 – Just wanted to give you a few of my thoughts, because I believe you are leaving a ton of money on the table and missing an incredible opportunity to grow the conference. Not to mention more attention on your brand. This was part of a conversation I was having with Demian (who is friggin awesome BTW) on a discussion thread in the Social Media Marketing Masterminds Facebook Group.

First let me say that SMMW16 was a game changer for me and was by far the best conference I have EVER been to. Brian Solis, Gary Vee, Carlos Gil, Fanzo, etc.. It was great to meet and talk with these people. That is why I was hot and heavy on SMMW17 and even organized a pretty big group of fellow Real Estate professionals to go.

But, last year's experience was just kind of "meh" for me and for most of my group for various reasons. I think we had about 15 people from my group go and I think only 2 are returning this year. I also will not be coming back this year.

Biggest Reason: No Industry Related Focus (Think Gary Vee's Agent 2021)
Second Reason: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced sessions are needed
Third Reason: Cost (This would pretty much go away if #1 and #2 reasons were addressed)

For example my fellow RE pros are falling all over themselves to pay $1,000 for a one day conference Agent 2021, because it is industry focused. They absolutely would pay an extra $300 for a multi-day SMMW conference if it had some industry specific content. Not only would they get their RE content but be exposed to everything else SME does. When organizing my group last year, only a small percentage had ever heard of SME, let alone SMMW. And these are hard core Social Media Marketers in Real Estate. These are speakers at other conferences and influencers in our industry.

I can go deeper into my point but didn't want to turn this in to an essay. Happy to expand on it if you are interested in my perspective. Either way, keep rocking and thank you for all you guys do and thank you again for SMMW16. It changed my career for the better.

  8. Thank you once again. Communication is usually the culprit. Finding standardised ways to keep all on the same page can be a challenge. Cooperation makes such a difference!

  9. Looking good. I like the forward thinking.

  10. Found me where I was! An add between games on Slither.io, my latest in between tasks time waster!

  11. Love the insight into your process. It's all about the story and the journey. Nice work.

  12. Keep the episodes coming

  13. AWESOME!
Thank you for share so much information. You are helping me to find a way to work better with an online team, and loose a fear to build a team. Thanks for inspiration!

  14. Love the journey, the insights and knowing even the giants struggle sometimes. Keep it up!

  15. Buen Video
